Newly Qualified Corporate Accountant – Private Equity

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, newly qualified corporate accountant to join a leading investment manager in London on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role provides broad exposure to corporate reporting, management accounting and financial operations within a private‑equity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and board packs for corporate entities.
• Draft year‑end statutory financial statements under IFRS/UK GAAP and support external audit.
• Manage month‑end close, revenue and expense reconciliations, and inter‑company settlements.
• Assist with quarterly VAT filings, corporate tax computations and FCA regulatory returns.
• Monitor cash‑flow forecasts, treasury administration and bank reconciliations.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects, system enhancements and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with up to 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Background in a Big 4 or top‑20 practice, or direct industry experience in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and corporate accounting fundamentals.
• Proactive, organised and detail‑oriented with excellent communication skills.
