Prime Life are looking for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as an Activities Coordinator at Birch Green in Skelmersdale. The home provides care for 74 residents with a range of physical, age‑related and mental health conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily activities that support residents' social, emotional, physical and spiritual well‑being.
• Schedule trips and excursions aligned with residents' interests and hobbies.
• Provide friendship and companionship, accompanying residents on outings or appointments.
• Organise and participate in fundraising events.
• Research and arrange entertainment such as musicians and artists.
• Maintain accurate and timely written records and complete required documentation.
• Welcome family members and encourage their participation in daily activities.

Required profile

• A genuine caring nature and desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Prior experience of organising activities in a similar care environment (advantageous).
• Strong time‑keeping skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Patience, understanding and respect for each resident’s individual abilities.
