Part‑time School Transport Driver

About the role

This part‑time position provides safe, reliable transport for children and vulnerable adults to and from schools and other locations in Bexhill and surrounding areas. You will work flexible morning and afternoon shifts during term time and enjoy school holidays off.

Key responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely to and from schools or designated sites.
• Build professional, friendly relationships with pupils, parents, carers and school staff.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies and licensing standards.
• Be available for both morning and afternoon school‑day shifts.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence (car category).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check and a Group 2 medical assessment.
• Willingness to work part‑time (15‑20 hours per week) and attend training.

Required skills

• Confidence driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair‑accessible vehicles (training provided).
