Pre Delivery Inspection Engineer/Technician

About the role

This hands‑on, fast‑paced workshop position ensures every photocopier or printer leaving the facility is fully built, configured and ready for client deployment. You will own the complete pre‑delivery process, from unboxing to final testing and safe preparation for dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare photocopiers and printers for deployment
• Install peripherals and upgrade firmware
• Configure devices to meet specific client requirements
• Perform system initialization, calibration and functional testing
• Apply manufacturer and Apogee settings
• Prepare devices safely for transportation
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems
• Keep the workshop organised, safe and efficient

Required profile

• Experience in a hands‑on technical, mechanical or production environment (e.g., workshop, assembly, IT hardware)
• Comfortable using computers and basic software such as Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to follow technical processes accurately and consistently
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and right‑first‑time delivery
• Good communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Reliable, punctual and able to manage workload effectively
• Interest in AI and modern technology is a plus
