Production Manager – Manufacturing (Lincoln)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our forge unit in Lincoln. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive output, quality and cost objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in achieving business targets for output, quality and cost.
• Manage the forge unit to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
• Plan and allocate resources to ensure priorities are met and production plans are executed.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including SPC control and scrap reduction.
• Maintain high quality standards, reduce re‑work and manage customer returns.
• Produce accurate management reports and ensure timely data provision.
• Promote a performance‑driven culture and develop the team.

Required profile

• Proven manufacturing management experience with people‑management responsibilities.
• Experience working in a world‑class environment with modern manufacturing and logistics techniques.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement methods and financial awareness, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent verbal communication and a high degree of flexibility.
