Public Administration AI Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote AI specialist to support government and public administration workflows. The contractor will design rubric‑style prompts for large language models and evaluate the quality of AI‑generated outputs, helping improve AI systems used in the public sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design rubric‑style LLM prompts tailored to public administration tasks.
• Evaluate AI‑generated outputs for policy accuracy, reasoning, and administrative practicality.
• Create and review structured evaluation tasks related to policy, civic programs, and public sector operations.
• Assess model performance and provide feedback to enhance AI systems used in governance contexts.

Required profile

• Experience as a public sector consultant, policy analyst, or civic program lead.
• Prior experience with Mercor rubric‑style tasks is preferred.
• Strong understanding of government operations, policy analysis, or public administration workflows.
• Excellent analytical thinking and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
