About the role

Electronic Arts is seeking a Quality Designer to join the Battlefield Single Player Systems team. You will help shape gameplay quality by designing test strategies, analysing data, and collaborating with multiple development partners to ensure a “Players First” experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and execute test strategies for behavioral AI, game settings and persistence features using game engines and internal toolsets.
  • Analyse project metrics and large datasets to drive data‑driven quality decisions and expand test coverage with AI‑assisted workflows.
  • Monitor game builds, track fixes and review designs to identify bugs and user concerns early, working closely with cross‑functional teams.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across the Quality Verification and Standards team and support continuous quality improvements.

Required profile

  • 4+ years of experience in software development and quality assurance within the gaming industry.
  • Proven experience with game engines, grey‑box and white‑box testing, and supporting behavioral AI features.
  • Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted workflows and automation to improve test coverage and analyse data.
  • Strong ability to present technical feedback and summarise risks for partners and QA teams.
