Receptionist – Luxury Hotel Front Desk

About the role

As the first point of contact for guests at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you will deliver a warm, personalised welcome and ensure every stay runs smoothly. This permanent, full‑time role blends hospitality excellence with meticulous attention to detail in a luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create a lasting, welcoming impression for every guest.
• Manage the complete guest journey from pre‑arrival to post‑stay.
• Build genuine relationships, especially with VIPs and repeat visitors.
• Provide attentive, friendly service that reflects Nobu standards.
• Answer enquiries promptly and maintain a tidy reception area.
• Maintain immaculate personal presentation in uniform.
• Use OPERA to capture and manage guest information accurately.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver crafted, personalised experiences.
• Handle cashiering duties, manage a personal float, and ensure secure transactions.
• Resolve issues swiftly, log incidents and follow up as required.
• Uphold safety procedures and control access at the reception desk.

Required profile

• Previous front‑of‑house or guest‑facing experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with a proactive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the OPERA property management system.
• Accurate cash handling and float management.
