Regional HR Manager – Scotland (3 Hotels)

About the role

We are seeking a Regional HR Manager to support three busy Scottish hotels – Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport, Holiday Inn Edinburgh and Glasgow Argyle Hotel. You will partner with General Managers and Heads of Department to create a high‑performing, people‑positive environment where standards are clear, support is real, and development is a daily habit.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships across all three properties and become the go‑to HR partner for managers and teams.
• Champion engagement, recognition and wellbeing initiatives that resonate in a hotel setting.
• Lead employee‑relations activities end‑to‑end, including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management, while coaching leaders.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding to ensure smooth entry for new starters.
• Support performance conversations, development pathways and practical training to grow leadership capability.
• Drive people‑focused projects, from organisational change to operational improvements, providing clarity and empathy during transitions.

Required profile

• Proven HR generalist/manager experience in hospitality, retail, leisure or a similarly fast‑paced multi‑site environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and the judgement to advise leaders decisively.
• Confident coaching style that enables managers to lead effectively.
• Comfortable using HR data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
