About the role

We are seeking a Remote Legal Expert to support the development of AI systems by providing high‑quality legal annotations and insights. This contract position offers flexible hours (10‑40 hrs/week) and allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to cutting‑edge machine‑learning projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and annotate legal documents to ensure AI models receive accurate inputs.
• Evaluate legal scenarios and provide expert insights to improve model accuracy.
• Assess AI‑generated legal content for quality, clarity, and compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate complex legal concepts into actionable data points.
• Help develop and refine guidelines and standards for handling legal data.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Proven expertise in legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret and apply legal frameworks to varied scenarios.
