Senior People Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to lead end‑to‑end HR operations for a fast‑moving, remote‑first organization. In this role you will design and automate processes that support a globally distributed workforce, ensuring compliance and operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage core HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off‑boarding.
• Support managers and employees with performance management, employee relations, and day‑to‑day HR needs in a remote environment.
• Coordinate with EOR providers and contractors across Europe, navigating complex employment structures.
• Partner with Finance to manage contractor payments and payroll‑related workflows.
• Design, document, and continuously improve scalable HR processes, replacing manual workflows with automated solutions.
• Build and maintain People Operations tools and automations, integrating platforms such as HiBob, Notion, Slack, and internal systems.
• Identify and implement AI‑driven opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce friction.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, preferably in a tech‑driven environment.
• Proven track record in startup or scale‑up settings with a focus on process building.
• Strong understanding of European employment frameworks, multi‑country workforce management, and EOR models.
• Experience working in fully remote, async‑first teams.
• High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and structured thinking.
• Proactive ownership mindset with the ability to solve problems independently.
