Senior Solutions Architect - Data Center

About the role

SHI International Corp., a global provider of IT solutions and services, is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect in London. The role is a leadership position that shapes and delivers enterprise-scale technology solutions, combining technical expertise, strategic thinking and project leadership. It covers cloud, data, AI and Microsoft ecosystems, and works closely with business leaders, clients and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders, product owners and technical teams to design end-to-end, enterprise-grade solutions.
• Lead the development of Statements of Work, architectural standards, reusable frameworks and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, platforms and integration patterns.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable technical solutions.
• Facilitate solution design workshops covering architecture, integrations, data flows and system interactions.
• Review and validate technical designs and implementation plans.
• Work with engineering, DevOps and security teams to oversee delivery and enforce governance.
• Support pre-sales and client engagements by presenting architectural vision and technical strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture, system design or senior technical roles in enterprise environments.
• Industry-recognized certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or TOGAF strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Cloud architecture across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Microservices, APIs and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD pipelines, automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
• Agile and DevOps practices.
• Cybersecurity principles, data privacy and regulatory compliance.
