Senior Solutions Architect - Secure Networks

About the role

SHI International Corp. is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect for its London office. The role leads enterprise-scale technology solutions centred on Cisco, combining deep technical expertise, strategic thinking and project leadership. It designs, implements and governs secure, scalable architectures while acting as a trusted advisor between business objectives and technical execution, covering cloud, data, AI and Microsoft ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders, product owners and technical teams to architect end-to-end, enterprise-grade solutions.
• Lead the development of Statements of Work, architectural standards, reusable frameworks and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, platforms and integration patterns.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions and run solution design workshops.
• Review technical designs and implementation plans, and collaborate with engineering, DevOps and security teams on delivery and governance.
• Support pre-sales and client engagements by presenting the architectural vision.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture, system design or senior technical roles in enterprise environments.
• Industry-recognized certifications, in particular CCIE and others.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Cisco architecture.
• Microservices, APIs and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cybersecurity principles, data privacy and regulatory compliance.
• CI/CD pipelines, automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
• Agile and DevOps practices.
