Senior Tax Accountant – 4-Day Week, Flexible Working

About the role

Our growing accountancy practice in Bromsgrove is expanding its tax department and seeks a motivated Senior Tax Accountant (Semi‑Senior / Senior Tax Adviser) to manage a client portfolio, deliver compliance and advisory services, and contribute to a supportive, flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of clients and identify tax planning opportunities.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Handle correspondence with clients and HM Revenue & Customs.
• Prepare income tax, business tax and capital gains tax computations, including 60‑day CGT returns.
• Complete P11D forms and employment‑related securities returns.
• Prepare ATED returns.
• Review work completed by junior team members and mentor them.
• Research technical tax matters and present practical solutions.
• Work on trusts and estates compliance (advantageous).

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK tax compliance and advisory role.
• Strong understanding of UK tax legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, flexible and team‑oriented approach.
• ATT qualification or working towards it (preferred).
