Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

Our publicly traded Canadian manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join the Corporate Taxation team at its head office in the Kitchener‑Waterloo region. The role will focus on tax compliance, forecasting, audit defense and tax planning while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare transfer pricing documentation in line with OECD Guidelines and local requirements.
• Assist with transfer pricing analysis and related reporting.
• Support quarterly and annual external reporting for financial‑statement income tax provisions.
• Handle Canadian tax filings, including annual corporate tax returns.
• Respond to queries from external auditors and government agencies.
• Provide tax support for mergers and acquisitions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of tax experience in industry or public accounting, preferably with a large global publicly traded corporation.
• CPA designation preferred; completion of in‑depth tax courses is a plus.
• Exposure to M&A and transfer pricing is advantageous.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
