Join the prestigious Education Academy at Barts Health as a Simulation and Essential Clinical Skills Trainer. This pivotal role is designed for a dedicated educator looking to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals through cutting-edge simulation-based learning.

Main Missions

• Deliver high-quality, procedure-based clinical training to undergraduate and postgraduate students, both independently and in collaboration with clinical specialists.
• Support the Local Simulation Lead in the end-to-end management of educational sessions, including preparation, delivery, assessment, and student follow-up.
• Design, implement, and evaluate innovative simulation-based educational activities to enhance clinical competency.
• Contribute to the strategic development and facilitation of revenue-generating training courses.
• Manage and maintain simulation facilities at the Whipps Cross center, with occasional travel to other sites as required.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in clinical education or healthcare simulation training.
• Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to teach complex clinical procedures to diverse student levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of specialists and educators.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and educational innovation.
• Flexibility to work across different hospital sites as needed.
