Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

Weststone Construction is seeking a Site Engineer to join its Glasgow team. The role is full‑time and based on‑site, focusing on the safe and efficient delivery of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and coordinate all on‑site activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout the project.
• Manage the execution of structural and civil engineering tasks.
• Monitor progress against schedules, identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Interpret and implement project plans and technical drawings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in on‑site project management and execution.
• Strong communication abilities to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Expertise in quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
• Solid understanding of structural and civil engineering principles.
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards (advantageous).
