SME Tax Manager

About the role

Taxbit is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Tax Manager to join its Singapore team. You will act as the technical brain for the Go‑To‑Market (GTM) team, advise client implementations, and design the logic behind the Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales and business development to create enablement materials and deliver tax expertise for new regulations.
• Engage directly with prospects, focusing on strategic and high‑value deals.
• Collaborate with marketing to produce white papers, webinars, and thought‑leadership content on regulatory changes such as CARF, 1099‑DA, and DAC7.
• Monitor the regulatory landscape, identify market gaps, and position Taxbit’s solution as the premier compliance offering.
• Work with Customer Operations to drive implementations of the Tax Enterprise Platform and support customers during peak filing seasons.
• Conduct workshops for the Customer Success team to deepen understanding of withholding and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Deep domain expertise in IRS Chapter 3 & 4 (FATCA), CRS, CARF, and domestic information reporting (1099/1042‑S series).
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product logic and compelling sales narratives.
• Mandarin language skills are preferred for communication with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
• Legal authorization to work in Singapore (Employment Pass or Permanent Resident).
