Software Engineer

About the role

Clearview is seeking a Software Engineer to join a small, cross‑functional team building machine‑vision software used worldwide. After a structured onboarding, you will work on live codebases, delivering features for both front‑end and back‑end platforms under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features for industrial Machine Vision products across front‑end (Blazor) and back‑end (C# / ASP.NET Core) layers.
• Take tasks from ticket through prototyping, implementation, testing, deployment and production support.
• Enhance the Kinetic inspection platform with faster, smarter capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with hardware teams (cameras, lighting, lenses, controllers) and applications engineers to integrate Clearview products into industrial systems.
• Maintain solid engineering habits: write unit tests, conduct code reviews, use CI/CD pipelines, and ask insightful questions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of professional software development experience.
• Motivation to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• C# and ASP.NET Core on modern .NET (8/9).
• Microservices architecture and dependency injection.
• Blazor for front‑end development, with occasional JavaScript.
• SQL, REST APIs, WebSockets for real‑time communication.
• Zebra Aurora Imaging Library (formerly Matrox Imaging Library / MIL).
• Cross‑platform development for Windows and Linux.
• Legacy WPF knowledge (optional).
• C++ (bonus, not required).
