About the role
Join a small, welcoming team at Dunbar Hospital in Thurso, providing high‑quality care to inpatients and supporting the Minor Injuries Unit. This full‑time permanent position offers the chance to develop your nursing skills in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult inpatients.
- Support the Minor Injuries Unit by assessing and treating patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinical governance standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective care.
- Work 12.5‑hour rotational shifts, with job‑share options considered.
Required profile
- Motivated, caring and courteous individual.
- Enthusiastic about developing skills and undertaking additional training.
- Experience in elderly or palliative care is preferred.
- Ability to work flexibly within a rotational shift pattern.
