About the role
The Royal United Hospitals Bath is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join its Pharmacy Aseptic Unit and Radiopharmacy Services. You will play a key part in safeguarding patient safety by ensuring that aseptic and radiopharmaceutical products meet the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support implementation and maintenance of the Pharmacy Quality Management System (QMS).
- Perform QA checks on batch documentation and environmental monitoring data.
- Assist with deviation, incident and non‑conformance investigations.
- Contribute to internal audits and preparation for external inspections such as MHRA.
- Maintain training records, SOP registers and QA documentation.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compliant service delivery.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy, clinical and quality teams.
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Required skills
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Familiarity with MHRA regulatory requirements.
