About the role

We are partnering with a rapidly growing accountancy practice in Alnwick to recruit a Tax Senior. This position offers the chance to lead complex tax projects, provide strategic advice, and develop professionally within a well‑established firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Deliver expert tax planning advice to optimise client financial outcomes.
• Analyse financial data to identify tax optimisation opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Maintain strong communication across the business to ensure tailored financial services.
• Monitor and stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation and best practice.

Required profile

• Experience in taxation within a practice environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Current knowledge of tax legislation.
