About the role
We are partnering with a rapidly growing accountancy practice in Alnwick to recruit a Tax Senior. This position offers the chance to lead complex tax projects, provide strategic advice, and develop professionally within a well‑established firm.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Deliver expert tax planning advice to optimise client financial outcomes.
- Analyse financial data to identify tax optimisation opportunities and mitigate risk.
- Maintain strong communication across the business to ensure tailored financial services.
- Monitor and stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation and best practice.
Required profile
- Experience in taxation within a practice environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Current knowledge of tax legislation.

- Base salary £30,000 – £37,500 DOE.
