Tech Lead (Android) – AI-First Mobile Engineering

About the role

We are partnering with a global technology business that is investing heavily in the future of mobile engineering. As an Android Tech Lead you will combine hands‑on development with technical leadership to shape the next generation of AI‑first mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical direction for Android across multiple products.
• Establish best practices in architecture, testing, CI/CD, observability, security and performance.
• Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Identify and embed AI tooling to improve productivity and code quality.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Remain hands‑on, contributing to production code when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer or Lead Android Engineer.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Interest in AI‑enabled engineering and modern AI tooling.
