About the role
Telecoms is a key strategic product area with ambitious growth plans for the next five years. As the Telecoms Commercial Growth Manager you will join the Commercial team and own the drive for sales performance and revenue growth in the micro‑business segment (1–9 employees) across all routes to market. You will design, enable and optimise commercial initiatives rather than carrying an individual sales quota.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, activate and scale high‑value growth opportunities to increase telecom penetration in the micro‑business market.
- Analyse the existing customer base to uncover cross‑sell and upsell potential.
- Assess and optimise the mobile handset + SIM portfolio for better customer and commercial outcomes.
- Lead targeted growth campaigns, build robust business cases, secure stakeholder buy‑in and track performance.
- Identify new commercial partnerships across the UK B2B market to broaden reach.
- Provide weekly and monthly insight‑led performance reports to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Finance to validate business cases, monitor commercial performance and understand P&L implications.
Required profile
- 4+ years delivering growth in commercial, business development, proposition or marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of direct sales and partner channel models.
- Proven experience with commercial modelling (e.g., CAC, payback) to support pricing and investment decisions.
- Experience building and owning sales forecasts and funnel analytics.
- Working knowledge of UK telecom regulatory requirements.
- Strong Microsoft Office capability, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Desirable: telecom exposure, CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot), multi‑product experience.
