VAT Manager – Digital & Devices

About the role

Amazon’s Digital & Devices division is looking for a VAT Manager to join its specialist team in London. You will advise product and commercial teams on VAT matters across a wide portfolio that includes Prime Video, Alexa, Kindle, Audible, Twitch, Ring, and upcoming services such as Amazon Leo satellite broadband.

Key responsibilities

• Provide VAT guidance for new digital services and market expansions across EMEA.
• Analyse place‑of‑supply rules, e‑invoicing requirements and cross‑border digital service obligations.
• Collaborate with finance, legal and operations teams on tax implications of content acquisitions, restructurings and M&A activities.
• Own a specific business line within the Digital & Devices portfolio and act as the primary VAT advisor.
• Contribute to Amazon’s broader indirect tax strategy and ensure consistent tax responses across disciplines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in VAT or indirect tax, preferably within digital or e‑commerce environments.
• Familiarity with cross‑border digital services and e‑invoicing implementations.
• Ability to translate complex tax rules into clear, actionable business recommendations.
