Vice President, Senior Auditor

About the role

BNY is looking for a Vice President, Senior Auditor to join its Internal Audit team in London. You will lead and perform audits focused on finance reporting, helping the firm identify risks and improve controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or perform audits related to finance reporting activities.
• Plan, execute, and report on risk‑focused audit engagements in line with internal policies and standards.
• Ensure testing is thorough and accurate to evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Develop work papers, flowcharts, and analyses to understand business processes and identify control gaps.
• Communicate findings clearly to management and auditees.
• Apply advanced analytical problem‑solving skills and guide team members in solving complex issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics preferred.
• Relevant work experience in audit or a related specialty.
• Prior experience leading audit assignments is advantageous.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
