Accountant – Birmingham

About the role

Mitchell Adam is partnering with a globally recognised financial services organisation based in Birmingham City Centre. The Accountant role sits within a professional finance team operating in a complex, multi‑entity environment, offering exposure to a broad range of core accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end processes, including accruals and pre‑payments.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial reports and management accounts packs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across a diverse property portfolio.

Required profile

• Currently progressing with ACCA or CIMA studies and eager to develop professionally.
• Previous experience of month‑end processing, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Exposure to management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working directly with clients or customers.
