Accountant – Manage Dual Company Finances

About the role

This on‑site position with an Adecco client involves overseeing the full accounting cycle for two affiliated companies. You will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with internal and external requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting functions for both companies, maintaining up‑to‑date ledgers.
• Process transactions and maintain records using Sage accounting software.
• Enter financial and payroll data into back‑office systems with high accuracy.
• Prepare quarterly management accounts, including reconciliations and explanatory commentary.
• Liaise with external accountants on monthly payroll processing.
• Coordinate the preparation of annual accounts and respond to queries.
• Compile and submit reports required by external regulators.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing accounting for more than one company.
• Strong knowledge of Sage accounting software.
• Excellent data‑entry accuracy and adherence to control procedures.
• Familiarity with preparing quarterly management accounts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with external accountants and regulators.
