About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Part‑Qualified Audit Senior to join a growing, supportive accountancy practice in Southgate. The role is newly created due to business growth and offers ownership of audit assignments while supporting senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied client portfolio.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Liaise directly with clients, building strong professional relationships.
- Identify audit risks and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Support partners with ad‑hoc audit and accounting projects.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date client records using accounting software.
Required profile
- Part‑qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) candidate.
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Strong audit experience with the ability to lead assignments independently.
- Good working knowledge of accounting standards and audit procedures.
- Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively in a team.
