Accounts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to act as the primary contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering accounting and tax services across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the daily point of contact for accounting and tax queries.
• Perform bookkeeping, double‑entry recording and journal entry preparation.
• Process quarterly VAT returns, prepare management accounts and year‑end financial statements.
• Conduct account reconciliations and provide financial analysis and forecasting.
• Assist with tax compliance, preparing and reviewing individual and corporate tax returns and liaising with HMRC and Companies House.
• Identify potential issues, trends and improvement opportunities for clients.

Required profile

• ACCA or ACA qualified.
• Minimum 5 years of practice experience.
• Proficient with various accounting software.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
