Accounts Senior – Accountancy Practice

Key responsibilities

• Review juniors' preparation work and provide support and guidance.
• Review accounts prior to partner sign‑off and help prepare information for client meetings.
• Prepare accounts for more complex clients from well‑maintained digital records.
• Act as a day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, handling routine queries and building strong relationships.
• Manage your own block of clients, including workflow, WIP, billing and general file ownership alongside the partner.
• Grow into the role with opportunities for progression.

Required profile

• At least two years' accounting experience.
• Practice experience preferred.
• Confidence reviewing accounts and supporting junior staff.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine, client‑focused approach.
• Friendly, reliable and keen to be part of a supportive team.
