Accounts Senior – Accounting & Business Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Senior to join our Accounting & Business Solutions team in Glasgow. You will deliver high‑quality financial reporting and support for a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, working in a supportive, people‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual accounts for limited companies, LLPs, and partnerships.
• Prepare and carry out independent examinations for larger charities and trusts.
• Visit client premises where required to deliver on‑site support.
• Build and maintain confident, professional relationships with clients.
• Respond to client enquiries promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Support, coach and guide junior team members as part of day‑to‑day responsibilities.

Required profile

• ACCA/CA qualification (essential).
• Strong accounts preparation experience within a professional practice.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Confident use of cloud accounting tools such as Xero and Sage.
• Ability to build strong rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
• Commercial awareness and a client‑focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Commitment to CPD and keeping technical knowledge up to date.
• Proactive approach and ownership mindset.
