About the role

As an Activities Assistant at a Barchester care home you will deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities, ensuring residents enjoy a motivational and fulfilling environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities for residents.
  • Help plan and run an entertainment programme covering pastimes, social activities, outings and events.
  • Support residents to live as independently as possible and encourage involvement with family, friends and the local community.

Required profile

  • No specific experience required; a sense of fun, creativity and the ability to encourage and motivate others.
  • Genuine interest in the people you support, with an enthusiastic and empathetic attitude.
