About the role
As an Admin Assistant at a Barchester care home you will support the delivery of quality care and a vibrant environment for residents. The role involves answering phones, handling files, supporting managers and welcoming visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Answer the phone and direct calls.
- Handle and organise resident files and paperwork.
- Support managers with administrative tasks.
- Meet and greet visitors and families.
- Engage with residents and assist with their needs.
- Show prospective clients and families around the home.
Required profile
- Ability to multi‑task in a busy environment.
- Good computer skills and confidence using office software.
- Professional telephone manner.
- People‑oriented with genuine interest in residents and families.
