About the role

Babel is looking for a senior Storage Administrator to ensure the proper operation, maintenance and evolution of its storage and backup platforms. The role focuses on availability, performance and compliance with service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and optimise enterprise storage infrastructures, guaranteeing performance and availability.
• Administer backup platforms, handling policies, copy verification, restores and data integrity checks.
• Resolve incidents and complex problems related to storage and backup systems.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including updates, patching and platform upgrades.
• Provide specialised technical support to operation and infrastructure teams on data storage and protection.
• Prepare technical and status reports covering capacity, performance and backup policy compliance.
• Participate in initiatives to improve and evolve storage and data protection technologies.

Required profile

• Senior professional with proven experience in enterprise storage administration (Dell EMC, NetApp or Hitachi).
• Hands‑on experience with backup solutions, primarily Commvault and Veeam.
• Background in N2 operations or managed services, preferably in multi‑client environments.
• Knowledge of cloud storage and backup services (AWS and/or Azure) is a plus.
• Additional experience with Avamar is valued.
