Adult Social Worker – Mental Health

About the role

Join a dedicated Mental Health Team within a North Wales Council as an Adult Social Worker. You will play a pivotal role in assessing and supporting adults with mental health needs, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while coordinating multi‑agency services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess mental health needs and risks for adult clients.
• Develop, review and update personalised care and support plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and manage safeguarding concerns.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary support with health, housing and community services.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and facilitate access to benefits, housing and other resources.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain comprehensive case records.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical and confidentiality standards.
• Participate in supervision and ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Minimum of 3 years post‑qualifying experience.
• Strong understanding of adult mental health and safeguarding legislation.
