Advanced Analytics Engineer

About the role

Plan International is seeking an Advanced Analytics Engineer to lead the responsible adoption, governance and delivery of AI, advanced analytics and intelligent automation across its global data landscape. The role translates organisational priorities into high‑value AI use cases that are secure, explainable and aligned with data governance, privacy and safeguarding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain AI governance standards, ensuring human‑in‑the‑loop, transparency and accountability for all AI‑enabled solutions.
• Design and enable advanced analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Snowflake, DBT and SQL, strengthening semantic models and metadata.
• Create prototypes and proofs of concept for AI‑enabled analytics, evaluating accuracy, bias and hallucination risks before broader adoption.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture and governance teams to ensure AI solutions are production‑ready, secure and cost‑aware.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building AI‑assisted analytics or intelligent automation solutions in a large‑scale, multi‑country environment.
• Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, information security and responsible AI principles.
• Ability to translate business priorities into technical specifications and measurable outcomes.
