Alarm Monitoring Operator

About the role

Join Banham's Alarm Receiving Centre team at the head office in London. You will provide calm, professional telephone support and monitor alarms 24/7, ensuring customers receive a high‑standard service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and alarms with a courteous, professional manner.
• Process alarm activations promptly and accurately, following company standards.
• Liaise with emergency services, customers, internal departments, and out‑of‑hours engineers.
• Enter and review data, generate daily reports, and conduct routine system checks.
• Monitor high‑profile CCTV accounts and support keyholding duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑service focused role.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a rotating shift schedule (days and nights).
• Willingness to obtain an SIA PSS CCTV licence within three months if not already held.

Required skills

• SIA PSS CCTV licence (or ability to acquire within 3 months).
• CCTV monitoring.
