Health & Safety Consultant – Operational Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Health & Safety Consultant to join Bureau Veritas’ operational H&S consultancy team. The role involves delivering practical, high‑quality advice to clients across the UK, helping them improve safety performance, compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consultancy projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Provide practical H&S advice and technical guidance to clients.
• Support audits, inspections and management system reviews.
• Produce high‑quality reports, technical documents and client recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with proposals and respond to client enquiries.
• Monitor project performance, utilisation and KPIs.

Required profile

• Experience in a Health & Safety advisory, consultancy or operational role.
• Confident engagement with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and guidance.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
