Approved Electrician – Industrial Projects

About the role

Actemium Birmingham is seeking an Approved Electrician to deliver electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance and upgrade services for industrial and commercial clients across North Yorkshire and the surrounding region. The role involves working on site at customer facilities throughout the UK, with occasional travel and overnight stays as project needs dictate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning and maintenance activities within the industrial sectors served.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to support project quotations and delivery.
• Liaise professionally with customers, contractors and stakeholders on‑site.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and company procedures.
• Support preparation of technical proposals, quotations and design submissions.
• Provide guidance to customers on the operation and benefits of installed charging equipment.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping and health & safety.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• ECS/JIB Gold Card.
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
