Architect – Residential & Mixed‑Use Projects (London)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing, design‑led practice in London looking for an Architect or Project Architect with strong residential experience. You will join a small, agile studio where responsibility is given early and you will work directly with senior decision‑makers on substantial residential and mixed‑use schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of residential and mixed‑use projects from concept through delivery, covering all RIBA stages.
• Develop and coordinate design information, manage gateway and technical design challenges.
• Lead day‑to‑day workstreams, supported by junior team members.
• Coordinate consultants and external project teams, reviewing inherited design data and advancing projects.
• Maintain design intent while addressing technical, regulatory and commercial pressures.
• Contribute to a collaborative studio culture that values proactive involvement over hierarchy.

Required profile

• Qualified Architect or Project Architect with proven residential project experience.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of design workstreams and deliver results.
• Comfort working closely with clients, directors, associates and consultants.
• Willingness to operate in a non‑corporate, low‑ego environment.
