Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst to join a UKAS‑accredited consultancy in Manchester. The role offers a stable, office‑based laboratory environment with clear progression pathways and a focus on high‑quality asbestos analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse bulk asbestos samples in line with UKAS and HSE guidance.
• Accurately record and report analytical results.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory quality procedures and standards.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring a clean working environment.
• Support wider laboratory operations and meet turnaround times while preserving accuracy.

Required profile

• BOHS P401 certification (essential).
• Previous experience as a Bulk Asbestos Analyst.
• Experience in a UKAS‑accredited laboratory preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
