EHS Advisor – North Region (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

EHS Advisor working primarily in the North region, offering a hybrid/remote arrangement with travel to sites across the UK. The role supports Bunzl UK & Ireland’s EHS team, delivering compliance, audit and data analysis services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct compliance checks and document reviews for all sites, reporting non‑conformities and generating audit reports.
• Oversee and manage suppliers, including waste and energy management, certification bodies and facilities contractors.
• Provide accurate data handling and analysis services to the BUKI team and wider EHS community.
• Perform on‑site audits to ensure adherence to Bunzl group and UK&I management system requirements, managing audit reports and actions.
• Serve as the UK&I expert for EHS software solutions, creating and using MI reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Level 3 Certificate in Health and Safety (NEBOSH, NCRQ or equivalent).
• Advanced Excel and EHS software skills.
• Excellent communication and diary management abilities.
• Ability to manage complex data and present business cases.
• Attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in logistics or manufacturing is desirable.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Level 3 Health and Safety certification (NEBOSH, NCRQ).
• Advanced Excel.
• EHS software proficiency.
