Asbestos Surveyor – Manchester (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a long‑established consultancy covering Manchester and the wider North West. The role focuses on commercial‑only projects in education and healthcare, offering a stable, field‑based schedule with minimal office time.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Survey education and healthcare properties across the North West.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Manage your own workload with support from a back‑office team.
• Ensure all work meets current legislation and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 (essential).
• Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and best practice.
• Confident working independently in a field‑based role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, organised and reliable.

Required skills

• BOHS P402 certification.
• Knowledge of HSG264 asbestos surveying standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
