Asset Finance & Corporate Lending Paralegal

About the role

This position offers a transactional paralegal to support asset finance and corporate lending activities for a leading international financial institution across the EMEA region. You will work on a variety of banking and finance matters, interacting with stakeholders in multiple jurisdictions while contributing to legal innovation and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate NDAs, reliance and release letters, legal opinions and other standard transactional documents.
• Provide practical, commercially focused legal support to front‑office and business stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and escalate legal, regulatory and reputational risks.
• Ensure documentation and processes comply with internal governance and applicable regulations.
• Support asset finance, corporate lending and broader structured finance activities across EMEA.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and assist in the execution of transactions.
• Contribute to legal know‑how, process‑improvement initiatives and the adoption of technology and AI tools.

Required profile

• Law degree, legal conversion qualification or equivalent legal qualification from any jurisdiction.
• Minimum two years of legal or paralegal experience, preferably in banking, finance or corporate transactions.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating transactional documentation such as NDAs and legal opinions.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercial mindset with solid stakeholder‑management skills.
• Previous in‑house experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
