Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join a well‑established property investment and development group. This hands‑on position offers a natural progression for an experienced finance professional, combining management accounting with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow responsibilities across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse management accounts and month‑end financial statements.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow models for property projects.
• Support senior finance leaders with accurate financial information across the group.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the finance team.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in management accounting within a property or commercial environment.
• Strong understanding of month‑end accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Previous experience supervising junior finance staff.
