Associate Consultant – Google Cloud (GCP)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Consultant to join our Google Cloud consulting community. You will work on GCP engineering, architecture, platform build, operations, security and DevOps/SRE projects for Defence, Government and public-sector clients across the Southwest of the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, govern and optimise secure GCP ecosystems in regulated environments.
• Create scalable, well-architected cloud solutions and platforms, including automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Implement cloud security controls, identity management, networking and compliance guardrails.
• Provide DevOps/SRE support to ensure reliability, observability and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform in one or more roles such as Engineer, Architect, Platform Specialist, Security/Infrastructure Engineer or DevOps/SRE.
• Comfort working in secure, regulated and hybrid cloud environments.
• Ability to apply best-practice cloud design patterns and deliver resilient services.
