Associate Director – Due Diligence

About the role

The Associate Director – Due Diligence will join a global consultancy’s Deal Services function, leading financial due‑diligence engagements for both buy‑side and sell‑side transactions. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines client interaction, team management and deep analytical work to deliver high‑quality due‑diligence reports.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagement processes from inception to delivery for complex transactions.
• Oversee fieldwork teams, ensuring rigorous data collection and analysis.
• Direct financial analysis of target businesses and produce comprehensive due‑diligence reports.
• Act as the primary liaison during deal execution, coordinating with legal, tax and operational advisors.
• Develop and maintain industry and economic expertise to support client decision‑making.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in Transaction Services or financial due‑diligence.
• Track record of delivering high‑quality due‑diligence reports.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of deal mechanics.
• Excellent analytical accuracy, integrity and relationship‑building abilities.
