Associate, Product Control

About the role

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Associate to join our Product Control team. Working as part of our Product Control team, this newly created role will support accounting for new product testing and our trading activity, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support testing procedures of new products, assessing completeness and accuracy of data flows and accounting records, and coordinating issue resolution and formal sign‑off.
• Collaborate extensively across Product, Engineering, New Products and the wider Finance teams.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency, data integrity and internal controls.
• Perform core accounting processes and coordinate reconciliations across key trading account balances such as scheme debtors, merchant creditors, and FX clearing.
• Serve as SME for the area, ensuring balances are accounted for in line with IFRS requirements.
• Set up robust documentation and processes for period‑end close and audit purposes.

Required profile

• Professional finance qualification such as the ACA or equivalent, with practical knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
• 2+ years of experience in balance‑sheet reconciliations and month‑end reporting.
• Experience in high‑volume, dynamic, regulatory environments, ideally within Payments, FinTech, or Financial Services.
